A nice movement at Manchester Airport to see was this 30.5yr old 737-329 9H-MTF flown bt Maleth Aero.
This plane has had a great history having been delivered new to Sabena (of Belgium) in September 1987, it then flew for Sobelair for a few months before then being returned to Sabena (still under its previous registration of OO-SDY) on 4th September 2001.
A week later sadly the Twin Tower attacks meant that Sabena suffered, like many other airlines too, and went into administration in October 2001.
This 737 was then put into storage at Brussels from November 2001 till August 2002 where it then went on to fly with DBA.
It has then gone on to fly with Olympic,Hola Airlines, Air Horizons, Gainjet and then finally being delivered to Maleth Aero in May 2013.
