This is a pet project for a favourite album of mine—over the past few years I've practised demastering, and El Oso was always one I always wanted more dynamic, so when the result turned out great I wanted to share it with all of you. I make all efforts to match original intent, so it's declipped only as much as the album's original compression demands—a mere 1.7dBs of extra headroom is effective at keeping the groove flowing and your attention undivided.

Additionally, I feel El Oso needs these other incredible tracks from the sessions in order to take full advantage of its epic feel. It's much more emotionally cohesive this way—the end of the record sounds like you're on your way home from a profound journey.

There are accidental split-second silences between tracks on the CD which are fixed here as well. In fact, every transition has been carefully timed to maximize a state of flow. I started with FLAC and uploaded lossless so Youtube wouldn't compress it twice.
