Today we rescued a beautiful swan from the horror of landing in a human waste tank. Baby swans (cygnets) get driven away from the area they hatched in around this time of year, by their own parents. So often cygnets are found in bizarre places due to being scared off by their parents and landing somewhere near by that they think is safe.
We had such a fantastic response from the public who donated towards the care of this swan, so to everyone who text in, thank you so much, even though he didn't make it, thanks to you keeping us running he passed away clean, dry and someplace warm, instead of being left to die swimming in human waste.
