Please note: this was all done with full permission from the property owners. This Farmall M was left to sit for a bit over 10 years when this farm stopped operation. Unfortunately in that time the barns started to fall apart and became unstable. The tractor was free if we could get it out. After lifting the roof up off it and propping it up we were able to drag it out of the barn and towards the road.
The tractor itself is a Farmall M, unfortunately the tag is missing so the year is not known. This tractor was used on the farm for many years. It is a white demonstrator tractor - painted by a dealership and then displayed at the world's fair, which is where the farmer purchased it. Being a demonstrator it may have been produced in 1950. The farmer ended up painting it red himself. The radiator sprung a leak at some point, so he ended up carrying water jugs with him to keep the cooling system full as he went. It is going to be a unique project to fix up.
