Video footage of the great Lamar Grier is rare so I thought it would be of interest, not only to banjo players, but to Bluegrass fans in general. Grier was a member of Bill Monroe's band back in mid 1960's together with Pete Rowan and Richard Greene. One could argue that that this particular line up of the Blue Grass Boys is the strongest ever.
Lamar Grier's son, David Grier, is one of the world's leading acoustic guitar players.
