Slider float fishing for Roach on the Hampshire Avon - The Fishing Diary 🐟

Описание: I grabbed a couple of hours of fishing on the beautiful Hampshire Avon.

This was my first time fishing a slider float on a river so it was a bit of a learning curve. I was also using a new rod, reel and camera to film it with.

I joined this club water in the hopes of catching a 2lb river Roach.

Spoiler alert - I've not done that yet. But I've only spent a few hours on the water and knew I'd need to master the slider float as some of the swims go to 14 foot plus.

I chose to fish the nearside run of my swim as there was a nice overhanging bush on the nearside bank. It also meant I could get to grips with the new technique - slider float fishing for Roach.
