Pour glue slowly to avoid bubbles and make sure it reaches the bottom; also make sure the glue is hot. Take a cap that is not too thin, the glue is quite dense and requires space.
The non sticky surface can be the other side of contact paper or a baking paper.
Clearly, if you have access to amazing putty mold and resin and polymer clay then you should use them. This tutorial is for people who don't have all that stuff.
