The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has notified a big change in the digital UPI transactions to be effective from April 1. An interchange fee of up to 1.1% will be applicable on merchant UPI transactions in the new financial year. The charges will be levied if a single transaction costs more than ₹ 2,000.
