uh i'm performing a show what kind of
show are you performing a kids one
what's it called
[Music]
hi i'm abby and i play the role of annie
in annie kids broadway bound hi i'm
jenna and i play oliver warbucks in
studio dances annie kids hi my name is
shannon kepler and i'm the director for
studio dansu's broadway-bound production
of annie this is a week-long camp that
we've been working on so we put the show
together in just a few days i'm so
impressed with how much the kids have
been able to accomplish over just a few
days of work they were casting their
roles on monday and then we've got our
production today which is friday so lots
of work lots of time i'm so proud of
them for everything that they've done
for this show it is a five-day camp from
nine to four at studio dansu it is just
really fun learning all this new stuff
and there's so many people you can just
communicate with and sing with and
there's so much choreography and there's
just you never get bored it's just an
all-day thing and it goes by so fast we
put on a production in only one week
which is a big accomplishment for
like just all the magic that we're
getting done
and annie is so well constructed because
of our wonderful director
and
i just had the time of my life i've made
some of the best friends i've ever had
here doing these groups of plays we've
got a pretty big age range we've got
some six-year-olds and our oldest is 13.
so that's a pretty big age range to work
with which has been great because the
younger kids have the role models to
look up to with older kids that are a
little bit more experienced but
the older kids have a lot can also work
with the younger kids and teach them how
to practice their lines and work with
them when i'm not working with them
which has been really helpful and really
great and they've all been doing such an
amazing job i'm so impressed with how
well the younger ones have been able to
catch on and just they really have been
putting a lot of time and effort into
this show if you just have any passion
for singing or music or theater this is
the place to go
