Leaving as the last song began was COOL, last time I ever saw or heard B.B. King again, GOD BLESS him, Hubert Sumlin, too. Rest In Peace
Thanks to JAMES BURTON who gave me the tickets * JOHN ROWLANDS, who orchestrated that and so much more in years prior. GREAT FRIEND. I placed in the top 5 for "Ernie Ball: Play Eric Clapton's Crossroads Festival Contest" - I entered and got top 5. After that - no tickets were awarded but people I knew were already deeply involved. John was going to photograph the entire show and get shots for James as well.
He ended up not being able to make it and the tickets rolled over to me, BOTH. Took a fellow Chicago studio owner and former employer I had in my early CHICAGO years making my way in the recording studio business and live band world. Post Eddie Kramer session, living life and taking it as it came, it took years on end to develop situations where I was musically active. I promised, once I got there again, i wouldn't let go.
Here we are again in 2025, back then, I had just ruptured 3 discs in my back and I was partially crippled person. It was a nightmare. After healing dietary-wise though the gut, reducing inflammation changed everything,
So good to be pain free and fit since 2017.
