Accommodation:
I recommend staying at Onederz Hostel, a rather large hostel with 3 buildings located in the city center. Lots of social activities going on. They have their own restaurant and bar on the ground level. You can choose from dorms or private rooms. And they have a number of tours you can join.

Tours:
If you stay at Onederz, I recommend joining their tours. I did the Angkor Wat tour with Chong and the Floating Village with Meng. Both were very interesting. They told a lot of the history and were very well educated. It was fun being on their tours. Always interacting with us. And never a dull moment. Angkor Wat was a 4:30am start time, but very well worth it. Chong took us to the exact spot he knew to get a good sunrise. The floating village was rather interesting because it was dry season, so it wasn't actually "floating". But I enjoyed going on this tour because it gave a complete different perspective to how life is in the dry season compared to the wet season. Meng was a fun tour guide and made it very interesting.

The ATV tour I booked separately through Get Your Guide. Meng also does these tours. They have morning, afternoon, and evening tours. I did the morning tour. And I was actually the only one signed up on that tour, so Meng was my personal tour guide and photographer. It was great. If you get a chance to tour with Meng, you'll be very lucky.
