About the Speaker:
Ms. Riddhi Joshi
MA (History), NET Qualified (History)
Ms Riddhi Joshi has completed her BA (History) from Ramnarain Ruia College and M.A. (History) from the Department of History, University of Mumbai.
She is presently working as a Visiting Faculty for History at the School of Law, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) both at the Navi Mumbai and Vile Parle Campuses. She even works as Visiting Faculty for History and Culture for the Travel And Tourism Management Course at the Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College.
She is also working with the India Study Centre (INSTUCEN) Trust, Mumbai since April 2020. She coordinated their Diplomas in Archaeology and Buddhist Studies; helps with programming, manages their Social Media, She also lectures at INSTUCEN and conducts Heritage Walks for them. She also regularly conducts lectures, food walks and heritage walks for many other colleges and institutions.
Riddhi has presented papers at several National and International Conferences. She has published papers and is one of the editors of the 'Playing With Memories' volume recently published by INSTUCEN.
Her prime interest lies in studying and researching Ancient and Medieval Indian History. She also holds a Visharad in Hindustani Classical Music (Vocal).
