Pinned to a burning tree by the gang's leader, Lord Saitō, Atsu miraculously survives and spends sixteen years honing her skills as a warrior. Returning to her homeland, the northern Japanese region of Ezo, she hunts the Yōtei Six, forming unlikely alliances and a loyal "Wolf Pack" as she fights to liberate the island from Saitō's tyrannical rule and achieve her revenge.
