Goodra AND Bewear in the Retro Cup, And It WORKS?! | Route to Legend Pokémon Go Battle League PVP

Описание: Retro Cup has returned to Go Battle League. This time there's some new additions to the meta in new Pokemon like Araquanid and Oranguru being released but honestly the cup as a whole still revolves heavily around Lickitung, Froslass and a few others. I wanted to try and bring something new and a bit unusual to the cup that isn't the same 5 pokemon rearranged but still functions in the cup generally. The team I've come up with isn't the most meta, but has 2 fairly spicy picks sure to keep the Retro Cup interesting if its starting to bore in GBL.

On the lead were bringing Goodra, a new and still somewhat rare pick in GBL in general due to the general rarity of wild Goomy let alone any with PVP IVs, but with Dragon Breath, no steels or Fairies to resist the dragon damage and a versatile charge moveset its hard to resist giving it a go. Being able to handle common elemental leads like Marowak, Jellicent, Talonflame and more while being able to deal strong consistent damage in even some of its worse matchups.

In the back we're bringing Walrein and Bewear. Walrein is a stalwart bastion of Go Battle League at this point, with the community day moves Icicle Spear and Powder Snow making it a force to reckoned with in both Great and Ultra League. It can handle Froslass, Fliers, Grasses, Waters, as well as any other Dragons that may come to try and cause Goodra issues.

Bewear is a little bit of a spicy fighter but has the unique ability for fighters of resisting Ghost type damage. It has massive Dark type damage potential with Payback which allows it to annihilate Jellicent, Cofagrigus and Froslass paired with the fantastic energy/damage combination of Shadow Claw. The moveset is rounded out by Superpower which means it can threaten ice types or even most other typings with huge damage that can force shields in tight situations.

This team is unconventional yes, its a little spicy. But this team works and takes me on a consistent positive streak that can't be ignored!
