We all order based on 4.8 stars. Almost nobody checks the number sitting next to it. A 4.8 from 12,000 people is a fact. A 4.8 from 80 people is a rumour.

So in this video I hunted down the highest rated restaurants on both apps, with one strict condition. Each one had to have fewer than 500 ratings. That is exactly the zone where a rating system either proves itself or completely falls apart. A new restaurant, 60 reviews, 4.9 stars. Is that a hidden gem, or is it just friends and family padding the score?

Same city, same day, same budget. One order from Zomato, one from Swiggy, repeat. No sponsorship, no filter, just the honest reaction as it happens.

THE RULES

The restaurant has to be among the highest rated available
Rating count cannot cross 500
Both orders placed the same day, same area

And at the end, a final verdict on which platform is more honest about the restaurants nobody has reviewed yet.
