How to Make Springs: 2 Great Hacks for Opening Coils

Описание: I discovered these two different methods for opening coils and thought they were both so amazing that I decided to do a video on them. In this video, I show you how to make simple coil-opening tools and how to use them. Why would you even need to know how to open a coil, you may ask? Well, there are certain chains that are built from coils. Also, you just might need to make springs for something (your car, mega yacht or simply a clasp). You can also use them as a design element. I could go on...

Anyway, I found these two great hacks online and thought I'd share them with you all. Tool one has been modified from the original design and the other just needed some instructions on how to make it. It took me an hour to figure out how the one I named "The Thingy" worked and how to make it. It looks like a "Torsion Spring" but, doesn't work like one so, it needed a different name.
