From a young age, Nneile has felt strongly that each of us had a responsibility to do what we could to save human lives and not leave that work to medical doctors alone. Her childhood dream was to become a medical doctor, but her mother pushed her toward a career in engineering. She eventually reconciled the two paths by founding a startup that created simple breast prosthetics for women in disadvantaged communities, using 3D printing technologies. With her team of mechanical engineers, software developers, and data analysts, she and her team have created various other solutions to help surgeons model their operations.
