"Our plan for 2030 is for 70 percent of our fleet to be fully electrified," says Lars Reinholdsson, CEO LBC Frakt. In collaboration with Scania, LBC Frakt is charging towards sustainable transport solutions, currently operating a 74-tonne Scania Electric Truck at Skanska's construction site.
Skanska, with a goal of achieving complete climate neutrality by 2045, emphasizes the significance of transport in its operations. "This commitment extends across the entire value chain, encompassing operations, construction, raw materials, and transport, among other aspects," Johanna Löfroth, Project Engineer from Skanska comments.
The partnership between LBC Frakt and Skanska, bolstered by Scania's electric trucks, not only enhances logistical efficiency but also exemplifies a shared commitment to reducing environmental impact. The collaboration aims to inspire other logistics operators to join the journey towards electrification for a greener future.
