ऑल इंडिया इमाम एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष मौलाना साजिद रशीदी ने डिंपल यादव को लेकर अपमानजनक टिप्पणी की। उनके इस बयान पर समाजवादी पार्टी और अन्य संगठनों ने कड़ी आपत्ति जताई है। मौलाना साजिद रशीदी के खिलाफ भारतीय दंड संहिता और आईटी एक्ट की विभिन्न धाराओं में प्राथमिकी दर्ज की गई है। एनडीए सांसदों ने संसद परिसर में इस टिप्पणी के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन किया, जबकि डिंपल यादव ने कहा कि एनडीए को मणिपुर जैसे मुद्दों पर भी इसी तरह सक्रियता दिखानी चाहिए।

NDA MPs protested against this remark in the parliament complex, while Dimple Yadav stated that the NDA should show similar proactivity on issues like Manipur.
