Never Before Seen Footage: What started as a quiet, snowy, Sunday Morning in Barrington, IL, turns to complete chaos as Officers respond to a burglary in Progress at Motorwerks.
The first responding Sgt. on the scene reports multiple suspects stealing high-end cars and exiting at a high rate of speed. One suspect, Tavarius Jackson, from Chicago, accelerated and intentionally rammed the squad car.
The impact of the crash allowed the other suspects to leave the scene at a high rate of speed.
The suspects caused four separate crashes at various locations with multiple injuries due to their reckless driving at high rates of speed.
Fleeing a stolen, crashed vehicle on foot, Jackson then makes his escape by stealing a Barrington Police Dodge Charger Squad Car, equipped with a HEMI V8 engine. Jackson reaches extreme speeds in the snow before totaling the squad and attempting to flee on foot. Jackson was subsequently Tased and taken into custody.
