SEAT asked us to create a song which was simple but heartwarming for their Christmas advert 2019.
We wanted the song to transmit warmth and nostalgia but sound positive at the same time so we came up with a pattern of three chords that would play throughout the song building up to an instrumental climax supported by a string ensemble.
We created the sound effects by using real objects to record foleys. We made the electric car sound by blending the real noise of tyres rubbing on the pavement with synthetic oscillators.
