Take a look at event highlights from the Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) Day 2020 virtual celebration, led by Joseph Serletti, MD, FACS, Chief of Penn Plastic Surgery.
The 2020 BRA Day event centered around resilience. Penn plastic surgeons and breast cancer patients and survivors joined to offer support, education, research and other updates.
During the event, there was a live panel discussion on breast reconstruction and COVID-19, which was led by breast reconstructive surgeons and moderated by Dana Donofree, CEO and founder of AnaOno Intimates.
Mother/daughter patient duo Deb and Molly shared about their breast cancer journeys. In February 2019, they had the honor of walking down the AnaOno runway during New York Fashion Week. They reflected on the experience and what it felt like to reclaim their body and life after breast cancer.
