NEPSI Tech Talk Session 15: Harmonic Analysis, Filter Design, and Testing (BBA)

Описание: In this NEPSI tech talk session we welcome Maurice Brisson and Alex Archambault, both from BBA out of Canada. BBA provides a wide range of consulting engineering services to industrial and institutional clients and stands out for its expertise in the fields of energy, mining and metals, biofuels, and oil and gas. Mr. Brisson is a recognized power system expert in transmission and distribution systems and Mr. Archambault brings his expertise in harmonic analysis, IEEE 519, and Hydro-Quebec's (and BC Hydro's) harmonic study requirements which involves modeling the source with impedance loci.

Our discussion focus on the importance of stringent and comprehensive testing requirements, harmonic standards, and harmonic study requirements, filter design methodologies, and startup and commissioning considerations.

We are excited to have BBA with us to share their corporate philosophy and why they push for the level of testing, protection, and other design aspects in their filter specifications.
