A little over three weeks ago, I had a crash landing at a MaxAcro SIV clinic wherein I attempted a high-speed butt-first spot landing on a boulder. It was 100% pilot error - I had three landing options when I came up short on the run and chose poorly. While nothing was broken (thanks to SOFLETE for the buns of steel), there was extensive bruising and compression.
This marks my first timid flight after that crash, and what it lacks in action, it makes up for with breathtaking vistas as I flew above the break in a cloud layer for some otherworldly views. It's also only 10 minutes... I'm getting better at leaving footage on the cutting room floor.
