Описание: Regular freight services have now stopped on the branch line from Sheffield to Stocksbridge Steel Works, bringing into question the future of the line in South Yorkshire, England. A quick look at the tracks near Fox Valley shopping centre, where the reception sidings for the huge steel works are located, showed an increasingly rusty and overgrown railway in late July, 2023 - but by no means derelict. There has been talk of reinstating passenger services on the route, although that would bring a considerable cost.
