James O’Brien gets the latest from Simon Marks on the US and Israel’s ‘coordinated’ attack on Iran and the subsequent fallout in the Middle East.
Iran has said it ‘will not negotiate with Donald Trump’ as the President called on the country to lay down its weapons.
The country enters its third day as strikes, as the US President announced on Saturday evening that their missions to kill the supreme leader was successful.
Talking about Trump’s next steps for the region, Simon Marks tells James there is ’no indication of a US plan’.
Marks also says the attack is ‘clearly a breach of American and international law’, as the President ‘doesn’t have any idea of legality'.
Last night PM Keir Starmer agreed to a US request to use British military bases for 'defensive' strikes on Iranian missile sites.
