I was born in Scotland, spent part of my childhood living there, and now return as a tourist—so I've had the unusual experience of seeing Scotland from both sides.

In this video, I'm breaking down five common misconceptions about Scotland: the weather, kilts and tartan, Edinburgh, Scottish accents and, of course, the food.

Is Scotland really cold and rainy all the time? Does everyone wear kilts? Is Edinburgh enough to experience Scotland? Will you understand the Scottish accent? And is Scottish food really all about haggis?

We'll talk about all of it.
