SAT Reading Real Time [Speed Drill]

Описание: SAT reading can be challenging, especially when it comes to your reading comprehension timing. Attention: This video is for those of you who can answer all questions correctly when time is unlimited. Such ability means you have SOLID reading comprehension skills and have a solid ability to make meaning from text. If so, you will significantly benefit from this exercise. Print out a single passage, find a quiet room, press play on this video and go!

The idea is straightforward. You want to get used to finishing a passage in 12 minutes and 20 seconds or less. If you take practice tests and allow yourself to spend more time (say 14-15 minutes per passage), you will run out of time. To many students, this may come as a surprise on the actual test. If you cannot answer most questions correctly without any time limitations, you need to focus on reading comprehension first instead of timing.

Remember, it's very inefficient to focus on speed with weak comprehension skills. Speed drills are for those students who already have strong reading comprehension skills and want to get faster.
