Recipe:
1 Cup Sugar
4 Tbsp Cornstarch
2 Egg Yolks (save whites for meringue)
2 Cups Milk
2 Tbsp Margarine
1 Cup Coconut
1 Tsp Vanilla or you can use a Tsp coconut flavoring.
Combine sugar, cornstarch add egg yolks. Add mixture to milk and cook on medium heat until real thick stirring constantly to keep from sticking. Take off heat and add coconut and vanilla or coconut. Pour into baked pie shell. Make meringue and put on pie and brown in oven on broil just keep a watch on it so it don’t burn. Take out off oven let cool and enjoy.
