More Laniakea from Sept. 25, 2012 10 am.
The waves shown here were filmed at about 10am. I was out surfing there at 6:30 am and it was big and glassy. The star of the day was a guy on a 9 ft. gun who caught the big huge waves between Laniakea and the rocks to the right. He streaked along and went all the way through Laniakea on many waves---helps having the right kind of board--and also the fact that he wasn't scared to catch a big huge one.
