ONE OF BEST BUTTERFLY GARDENS IN SOUTH FLORIDA GUMBO LIMBO NATURE CENTER BUTTERFLIES EVERYWHERE!

Описание: Gumbo Limbo Nature Center is one of the first places that I remember looking for butterflies as a kid. It is one of the furthest northern examples of tropical hardwood hammock. Although it has bee partially cleared to place buildings, parking lots and sea turtle tanks, it remains a great spot to find many of the butterfly species that exist in tropical South Florida.

They have done a great job developing a beautiful butterfly garden in the middle of the hardwood hammock. It is one of the best butterfly gardens I have seen. We saw many species of butterflies on this brief walk. Ruddy dagger wings, monarchs, giant swallowtails, zebra long wings, julias, mangrove skippers and more.
