A Hinge Bed in my SUV * Car Camping Build with Storage

Описание: This is my take on a SUV camper conversion with a hinged double sided storage bed frame. You can easily access food, water, tools, clothes etc from the side doors or the rear hatch. This design should work in a Van or MiniVan, with a similar layout and attachment. After owning 2 Sprinter vans in 6 years I decided to switch to an SUV and build it out as a camper. The downsizing wasn't easy at first but with the added SwingAway Hitch Kitchen cargo box and this bed platform I prefer this setup to Sprinter ownership now. I don't regret the Sprinters, they are big, strong, versatile vehicles and putting about 90k miles on each of mine I got very familiar with both of their diesels, the 2.7L and 3.0L. It just got to the point where I was having reliability issues and wrenching more than traveling and enjoying the road. As a self taught carpenter, mechanic and musician I'm looking forward to making more DIY, auto repair/maintenance and camping videos.
