#shorts Yes, adding mirrors can make a big difference to solar output. My 12kW system is split into 2 x 19 panel systems and when I only had the mirrors on one of the systems there could be up to a 1kW difference in output between the systems late in the day when the sun moved behind the panels.
Mirrors fire the sun back at the panels and definitely help to lighten the whole area even when they aren't reflecting direct sunlight.
It's definitely been worth adding the mirrors but the initial outlay was steep.
