I did this one a while back but it was prior to having any microphones other than my iPhone mic. Decided to do it again since it’s a favorite of mine. I’ve always loved Ringo’s playing on this one. Really happy with the drum sound I got here!
I’ve been micing the side of the snare rather than having it directly over the batter. I feel like I get a more natural sound this way. Less attack and more the sound of the drum.
