Náhle je vše to tam
Slunce se propadne jak žhavý výkovek
do pece propadné
A noční obloha
ač prchlo slunce z ní
dál srdce marnou láskou sytí
V své hloubce ukrývá tajemství odvěká
Ať v černý rubáš tmy se v zimě obléká
Či hvězdam i se v létě třpytí
Dál srdce marnou láskou sytí

druhá báseň:
Proč, nemáte-li mi co říci,
se držíte mě pod paží?
Proč mámíte mě dál svou lící,
jež dech i králům vyráží?
Proč, jestliže mě nechápete,
mi vkládáte dlaň do dlaní?
Pro jiného váš úsměv kvete
za našich smutných setkání.
Proč, stojíme-li na rozcestí,
se dále stýkat musíme?
Jste moje bolest, jste mé štěstí,
váš pohled pálí v duši mé...

Suddenly everything is gone
The sun falls through like hot forging into the treacherous furnace
And the nocturnal sky
Thought the sun had fled from it
Further saturates the heart with futile love
In its depth it hides the ancient secrets
Whether a black shroud of darkness in winter dresses
or it shines by stars in summer

2nd poem:
Why, if you have nothing to tell me
You hold my arm
Why do you lure me with your cheeks
When it threads out even the breath of the kings
Why, if you dont understand me
You are putting your palm into mine
Your smile flourishes for the other
During our sad meetings
Why, if we stand at the crossroads
We must associate furthermore
You are my pain, you are my joy
Your sight burns in my soul
