Cindy and Rick are back in the living room for another soulful session! In this video, we perform a duet of the beloved gospel hymn, "His Eye Is on the Sparrow."

Rick provides a unique accompaniment played entirely by ear, creating his part as we go. We typically record these sessions after working through our weekly Play By Ear Challenge lesson.

Written in 1905 by Civilla D. Martin and Charles H. Gabriel, this hymn was inspired by the unwavering faith of Mrs. Doolittle, a bedridden woman who found joy despite her circumstances. It remains a powerful reminder of divine care, solace during sorrow, and the comfort of knowing that "He watches me."
