Disassembling this Velo Solex 3300 1964 is a journey of surprises. There is a lot of corrosion, missing parts, jammed pieces and a 60 years piece of history. Many questions will arise along the way with different ways to go. The Solex 3800 engine is an interesting challenge for itself, as it doesn’t turn- it is completely stuck.
Paying attention to the details in order to save the majority of the original structure is my prime focus. Let’s bring this piece of history back on the road.
