"Blue Christmas" This is my rendition of this old Christmas standard. It's written by Billy Hayes and Jay W. Johnson and most famously recorded by Elvis Presley, although it was first recorded by Doye O'Dell in 1948. Country music superstar, Ernest Tubb recorded his number 1 hit version in 1949. It is a tale of lost love during the holidays and is a longstanding staple of American Christmas music.
