POV: you are Usain Bolt for 9.58 seconds.
This is the Men's 100m final from the 2009 World Championships in Berlin, rebuilt in 360 VR. Real athletes, real track, real split times. My first VR experience on MotionAthlete.
Format: 360 VR, 4K, 60fps.
Every sprinter from the final lines up around you. Each athlete enters with their real pre-race ritual, same as 2009. Their running styles match the race, stride for stride.
WATCH IN 360
On your phone: move your phone around or drag the screen. Open the YouTube app for the smoothest view.
On desktop: drag with your mouse or use the W A S D keys.
On a Quest or any VR headset: open YouTube VR and put your goggles on. Best way to feel the speed, FYI.

Richard Thompson owned the fastest reaction, 0.119s off the gun.
Bolt and Gay seperated the field early, both under 3.85s at 30m.
HOW I BUILT THIS
I model, rig and animate in Blender.
I add cloth, textures and motion with extra tools.
I edit in DaVinci Resolve.
One month of work, 7 hours a day. Next one goes quicker, I hope lol.
SOURCES
Official IAAF split times.
Rolf Graubner video analysis, 50fps (2011).
60m data from Magician wlx (2025).
Race commentary from the original broadcast, trimmed and sped up to fit.
