In this episode, I will be speaking with Joel, who returns to share a series of unsettling encounters that span decades and locations across Georgia—experiences he can only describe as either cursed… or blessed.

Joel recounts a chilling daylight encounter from April 2001 while traveling with his family down I-16 in east Georgia. In clear view of multiple vehicles, including a semi-truck, a massive dark figure burst from a marsh, crossed multiple lanes of traffic in seconds, and vanished into the median. The speed, size, and fluid movement left everyone who witnessed it—including the truck driver—completely shaken and without explanation.

But that was not Joel’s first experience.

He also takes us back to his teenage years during a late-night fishing trip in rural Georgia, where he, his cousin, and a family friend were terrorized by blood-curdling screams and heavy footsteps racing toward them through the woods. What they heard that night was powerful, fast, and far larger than any animal they knew. Decades later, even his cousin—now a Baptist preacher—admits it was no cat and something he still cannot explain.

Joel’s story is one of fear, disbelief, faith, and unanswered questions. Are these encounters something dark… or something meant to reveal itself for a reason?
