As promised, here are the parts of the bible where honesty is discussed
1. Direct Commands and Moral Laws
Exodus 20:16: The Ninth Commandment explicitly forbids bearing false witness against a neighbor.
Leviticus 19:11: "You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; you shall not lie to one another".
