Alok Vaid-Menon wants to help all queer, gender nonconforming, nonbinary, and transgender people, and says LGBT rights, trans rights, and queer and LGBTQ representation aren't just good for the LGBT and trans communities — Alok Vaid-Menon says it's largely about mental health.

Alok Vaid-Menon, who is known for their art and activist collaboration DarkMatter, isn't afraid anymore to show their transfeminism to the world. They say they're simply Alok. Performance art helps Alok Vaid-Menon show the world who they are: Alok Vaid-Menon. Poetry is also part of Alok Vaid-Menon's performance art and was part of their Dark Matter project.
