i n t e r p r e t a t i o n
After the events of round 1, the four are unsure of what to do for despite the fact they tried so hard to avoid fighting, lives were still lost. Maybe from the beginning, they were actually powerless, unable to make a difference in this world.
“Where should we go from here?”
“Where do we want to go?”
“Does it matter?”
“Maybe it doesn’t.”
Perhaps to reach the end of war and bloodshed does not mean giving up and laying down their weapons, but instead it means to continue fighting for the sake of the end. After all, even though they did not want to fight, it is because they do that they were able to meet one another and strive for some sort of new future. This was their decision then: sitting around and crying about peace would get them nowhere; they would give everything they got to fight together and create a new world for themselves.
