Apple MagSafe vs Anker PowerCore Battery Pack // $100 vs $50, Sometimes Cheaper Is Better!

Описание: I have been very open about my love for MagSafe! I think it’s an awesome addition to iPhones and I love how much potential there is for accessories. The sad part of this however is that there aren’t as many accessories out, even though it’s almost been a year. Apple themselves has been slacking and after releasing two cases and two chargers, they haven’t released any new MagSafe products.

That was up until recently when they announced the new MagSafe battery pack. This is an additional battery pack which you can pop onto the back of your phone with the MagSafe magnets and charge up your phone with. While this sounds awesome in practice I had a few concerns, mainly with the battery capacity.

That’s when I spotted the Anker PowerCore MagSafe charger. This charger had a 5000 mAh battery which is significantly larger than the Apple MagSafe battery pack, AND it was half the price at $50. So the question is does the Apple case do anything the can justify its $100 price tag.
