Testing Pasler art ceramic underglazes.

Описание: I was thrilled when Pasler-art asked if I wanted to try out their underglazes. Loving their underglaze marker pen so much, I was intrigued what their regular underglazes would be like.

They sent me the box set of twelve opaque colours, which also included two trail bottles.

At first glance I thought the darker colours had better opaque coverage, lighter colours needed a couple of layers to get a solid line. But that's usual for ceramic underglazes.

I applied straight from the bottle and I have to say they were very smooth to use.

They're available on Amazon and as I'm writing this, I've just checked the product specs and it does say,

"Firing range: Cone 06 - 6 (999°C - 1222°C). Some colors remain true as high as Cone 10 (1305°C). Colors will not move or flow during firing."

So hopefully that means my first test will come out a pottery rainbow treasure to keep forever.

Oh, and the gold glaze? Definitely says cone 6 on Amazon, but it will be interesting to see what comes out of my kiln later today.
