This was Hajikhan’s first time watching Groundhog Day, and revisiting it together led to some interesting conversations for us.
We’ve always heard mixed opinions about this movie — even our mothers never really liked it — and after watching it again, we kind of understand why. Bill Murray’s character can feel frustrating at times, and some moments don’t age perfectly.
That said, it’s still a great movie. Very nostalgic, very winter-themed, and honestly perfect for a cozy Christmas vibe — even if we’re a little late and it’s already January.
In the end, we both enjoyed it and totally get why this movie has remained such a classic.
