SteamRanger Heritage Railway took delivery of Diesel Locomotive 844
as a donation from OneRail Australia.

On the 10th March 2023 I was lucky enough to film one of 844's test runs and you will be amazed at the magnificent restoration completed by the
SteamRanger Heritage Railway!
Congratulations to the team!

Valued SteamRanger Volunteer Peter Brown kindly gave me information on 844's horn to share- he said:-"The horns on the 844 are the standard Westinghouse type A & B (2 of each). A couple were changed from the ones 844 arrived with. They still require a little bit more fine tuning." Thanks Peter!
