Commanders, we have made adjustments to the game balance.
Large resource containers now appear at a later time
• In 1x1, 2x2, and 3x3 PvP modes, the spawn time for the first large resource container has been shifted from 02:00 to 03:30 min.
In the initial two minutes of combat, many players struggled to establish their base, collect small resource containers, and ready their forces for the battle over the large container. With more time now on the clock, players can employ a wider array of tactics at the start of the game.
New requirements for producing Level 1-2 Heroes
• Level 1 Heroes now require level 2 Assault Veh. Factory, and to produce level 2 Heroes, level 3 Assault Veh. Factory will be needed.
The rush strategy with level 2 Heroes was among the most effective tactics. Skilled players would swiftly attack opponents who were unprepared for defense. Even experienced players often struggled against these Hero rushes. Now, level 1-2 Heroes will enter the battlefield slightly later.
Bombers strengthened: Thor and Albatross
• Command Points required have been reduced from 7 to 6.
• Fuel consumption has been decreased by 25%.
Bombers consumed a significant amount of Command Points, limiting their production and the size of ground forces. We've reduced the Command Points cost and decreased fuel consumption. Bombers will now be less likely to return to base with empty tanks and will be more effective in combat.
Reduced attack range of naval defense structures
• The base value of the attack range of Torpedo Launchers has been reduced by one cell.
Torpedo Launchers often destroyed naval artillery — including Poseidons and Barracudas — and prevented units from capturing control points. Sometimes, they were even used to strike at enemy bases. Such tactics will now be less effective, increasing the importance of naval artillery.
Increased durability for mobile and stationary anti-air defenses
• The base durability value has been increased by 10% for the Typhoon, Porcupine, and anti-air defenses for both factions.
Occasionally, air units would destroy anti-air defenses and dominate the skies, forcing players into surrender due to the air threat. Now, even partially upgraded anti-air defenses will more effectively fulfill their role of destroying enemy aircraft.
Important: Changes did not affect naval defense structures and Heroes.
The upgraded attack range value for level 2 infantry has been increased
• The upgraded attack range value of the Heavy Assault and Grenadier units has been increased by 0.5 cells.
This change will make infantry more popular at higher ranks. Regarding the upon-upgrade value, all units' attack range improves by two cells, but infantry only by 1.5. Now, the maximum attack range of level 2 infantry is upgraded to two cells, making them more effective at higher ranks.
The "Hold position" button will now always remain visible for units in siege mode
• Players who use the "Automatically switch units to siege mode" feature often find that their units automatically chase enemies. Previously, it wasn’t possible to issue the "Hold position" command while in siege mode. Now, your troops will stay in place, and the button will always be accessible.
