In this video we are Kiln Lane Level Crossing on the outskirts of Ely. This crossing is on Bi-Directional line and can have two trains pass at the same time but going in the same direction. Here, we are close to Ely North Junction where the tracks splits into three separate lines with one heading to Peterborough, one heading to Kings Lynn and the other heading to Nowrich. This crossing has been in discussion for a while now about a new bridge taking its place making it safer for pedestrians as the road is a public footpath but only available to authorised vehicles.
