Описание: The United States Supreme Court has ruled against the Trump administration’s attempt to end DACA protections for approximately 700,000 immigrants brought to the US as children. The Obama-era program protects those youth, known as “Dreamers” from being deported. It’s a historic win for immigrant rights advocates and a stunning blow to the Trump administration in the midst of reelection. Chief Justice John Roberts was the swing vote in the 5- 4 decision, writing that the government failed to give an adequate reason justifying the end of the program. Reaction was swift across the state, Governor Murphy praised the court calling DACA recipients part of our New Jersey family.
